THE CRUCIBLE
After spending some time in worship before the L-rd, I was just preparing to enter into prayer. Without drama or fanfare, the L-rd began speaking a word to me that I feel is to be shared with the body of believers. I offer it for your prayerful consideration:
I believe the L-rd said that America is going through a shaking—that she is being rocked and reeled. Now, this didn’t come as any great revelation, as I’m sure it won’t to most readers. However, I believe the L-rd went on to say that many believers feel that George Bush is going to bring some stability to the nation—if only for a season. I believe He said that things are not going to be as we might expect.
I believe that the L-rd said that He is going to use George Bush to create a CRUCIBLE. I had a fairly good idea of what the word meant, but I have found that the L-rd uses vocabulary very specifically with me, so I looked it up in the dictionary:

This entry is from the Merriam Webster Dictionary. These are the words I felt the L-rd speak. For several days prior to this, almost every time I would close my eyes, I would see flames.
“…I will use him (George Bush) to create a crucible. The fire of the crucible will either consume or purify. It will strengthen or destroy. These next four years are days of fire. The heat will be intense, moving some toward G-d and others away. Situations will arise which will cause young and old, king and pauper to examine themselves and determine to whom the will give themselves. These are days of separation…days of determination. I demand a holy Bride. I will bestow gifts to those who walk uprightly, that the world might see that I honor My Bride. America will shake, the nations will roll and I will bring forth My Bride in purity”.
This word was disturbing. The L-rd did not specifically reveal to me the nature of the crucible (perhaps that is a matter for further prayer) only that it would cause people to have to choose sides and that their decision would reveal something about their hearts. My first inclination was to think that the crucible would be created with reference to Israel. Though this is a high probability, I cannot with complete certainty say that this is what the L-rd said. I do know that it is an issue that will begin to divide the nation and later the world. Each will be required to make a decision, if only in their hearts. The L-rd searches and knows the hearts of men. THIS CRUCIBLE WILL REVEAL THE BRIDE. I am not saying that the L-rd is coming back at this time, only that those who are truly His will be seen with greater clarity.
Finally, I felt the L-rd say that there would be wonderful manifestations of His glory and power on those who walk in holiness and purity before Him. He will bestow great, great giftings upon the pure in heart. The prerequisite is that they walk in a strong enough character to sustain the flow of anointing.
The admonition I felt is that the body of believers must be in prayer. Seek G-d’s face…hear His heart…and then agree with what He is saying and STAND. G-d, grant us the grace to do so!
