YESHUA is the MESSIAH,
the Righteous Branch of YHVH, from David's line: The Lord our Righteousness [Jeremiah 33:14-26]
"My G-d, my G-d, why have You forsaken me?"
Psalm 22:1; Matthew 23:37-39; 27:43,46 (Tanach and B'rit Hadasha flow together seamlessly)
He is the "sign" (which would be spoken against – the rejected stone which has become the capstone – Ps 118:22!) given to the house of David ("Immanu El" – "G-d with us"); "the arm of the Lord" revealed to mankind…the "horn of salvation raised up for Israel in the house of His servant David" to provide "salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us"…the "rising sun" which came to Israel "from heaven to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of shalom." He was sent first to preach "the good news" of personal salvation through the forgiveness of sins, so that men might repent and be immersed into the reality of His Name and so experience the manifestation of His Kingdom in their hearts, as a prelude to the restoration of Israel's glory. And so He was "pierced" and "crushed" as the "Lamb of G-d," "Messiah our Passover" ('Messiah ben Yosef') – "cut off from the land of the living" to provide the appointed redemption in His cleansing blood as a perfect, lasting atonement for Israel's (and mankind's) transgressions. Yeshua's name and title are hidden in Psalm 22, where his atoning self-sacrifice is described, to save Israel from the terrible consequences of following imposters, who have no power to protect Israel from the destroyer who is gathering his forces against G-d's "firstborn son," the house of Jacob [Ex 4:22,23]. G-d became our salvation by being manifest in the flesh (as Yeshua the Saviour and returning King) in order to crush the head of the ancient serpent, ha'satan [Gen 3:14,15; Colossians 2:15]. Rejection of Yeshua is therefore an invitation to destruction, by breaching Israel's covering in G-d.
In fulfilment of prophecy, Yeshua will return to Zion as the Lion of Judah ('Messiah ben Davit'), but only when Israel knows and acknowledges and reveres His Name and trusts in Him, by calling upon HaShem in the sacred Name, Yeshua ("G-d is salvation"), which He gave His only and uniquely begotten Son (His own Word made flesh), whom He sent to redeem His people Israel. This is "good news" that Messianic believers are commanded to give Israel.
All Israel will sing the song of Moses the servant of G-d and the song of the Lamb, and proclaim the glory of G-d because of His faithfulness to raise up His righteous branch,Yeshua, the one about Whom Moshe wrote. For this Yeshua is G-d's "yeshu'ah" (salvation) - the Messiah Who is salvation, in and through Whom G-d is reconciling Jew and Gentile to Himself as members of the extended house of Jacob, before delivering Israel from her enemies! Without the help of the G-d of Jacov through acknowledgement of Yeshua and submission to His Lordship, Israel's pain will not end.
[Gen 49:10; Deut 32:43; Isaiah 7:13,14/25:9; 49:1-6; 52:6-10,13-15; 53; Daniel 9:26; 12:1-4; Hosea 5:14,15; Psalm 22:1,8,18/Mattityahu {Matthew} 23:37-39; 27:43,46; Luke 1:26-56; 68-75,78,79; 2:30; Yochanan/John 5:45,46; 19:24,37; Acts 3:17-26; 10:36; 1 Corinthians 5:7; Revelation 5:5-14; 15; 22:16].
David anticipated the death of his Lord, Yeshua the Messiah – the' greater David' whom he encountered in a preincarnate manifestation. He was given a glimpse of the uncreated, brought forth, uniquely begotten Son of G-d "at the right hand of the Father." This covenant-keeping, Torah-upholding Yeshua who was born from above by a Divine seed – fathered by HaShem Himself through the power of His Ruach HaKodesh - became the Living Torah - a set-apart human being, sanctified by His obedience, for our sanctification, then sacrificed for the permanent remission of our sins in order to freely justify us by grace, through faith; then "raised, lifted up and highly exalted" as "priest forever in the order of Malki Tzedek," through whom Israel's destiny will be fulfilled.
No man can redeem the life of another or give to G-d a ransom for him – the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough…but G-d Himself incarnate as Yeshua the Messiah, has redeemed our lives from the grave and will surely take to Himself all who acknowledge His ransom sacrifice in the precious eternal blood of Yeshua, His chief manifestation in history! Since the life of the Father is in the Son, Israel cannot have life in abundance and life eternal, unless our people receive the Son, Who was sent to give life everlasting. Those who reject the Son, reject the Father Who is in the Son, and will join the generations of their fathers who will never see the light of life, for failing to believe in the "Man from heaven" and failing to desire to bear his Divine likeness – the likeness of the Son of man whom G-d raised up for Himself and through whom Israel's final revival and restoration must take place. Salvation is found in no-one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved - because He Who is "the first and the last" [Isaiah 48:12] is "the Living One" Who in His incarnation as the Saviour, Yeshua the Messiah, died and now lives! [Isaiah 45:21-25; 48:12/Philippians 2:5-11; Revelation 1:7,8,17,18]. Rejection of Yeshua is rejection of the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
"Let Your hand rest on the man at Your right hand, the son of man You have raised up for Yourself. Then we will not turn away from You; revive us and we will call on Your Name. Restore us, O Lord G-d Almighty; make Your face shine upon us, that we may be saved."
[Psalm 2:7; 49:7,8,15; 80:17-19; 110:1,4; Prov 8:22-30; 30:4; Is 52:13-15; 53; Mattityahu/Matthew 5:17-20; Luke 20:42; Yochanan/John 1:1-18; 1 Yochanan/John 5:11,12; Acts 4:12; 1 Corinthians 15:47-49; Colossians 2:9].
