PREPARE THE WAY OF THE LORD

The Feasts of the Lord are always a time that Yeshua chooses to speak and
chooses to reveal Himself to us, His people.
They are times when we examine ourselves before our Lord so that He can
bring us into a closer, more intimate relationship with Himself.
During the feasts Yeshua sends out a special call to come to Him just as
we are and to renew our covenant vows to Him.
The Holy Spirit is ever working to bring us to a place of purity and
holiness so that Yeshua can receive the bride for which He paid such a high
price.
This year Yeshua asked me to fast the week
before Passover. He told me to
listen closely especially on the third day.
This is what He spoke into my spirit from Luke 3:4-6 (Complete Jewish
Bible translation).
The voice of someone crying out:
In the desert
Prepare the way for ADONAI! Make
straight
paths for Him!
Every valley must be filled in,
every mountain and hill leveled off; the
winding
roads must be straightened and the rough
ways
made smooth.
Then all humanity will see God’s
deliverance.
Yeshua told me that this is the prayer we each need to be praying every day. We all are crying out to see the Lord! We all are asking Him to send His glory that we may dwell there. Yeshua is saying that if we really mean that then we must be preparing ourselves to receive. Inside each of us are valleys that need to be filled in. There are winding roads that must be straightened out, and rough ways that need to be made smooth. All of these represent areas inside of us that are not ready to receive the Lordship of Yeshua. Only He knows these areas because there are places inside of us that even we are not aware of that need His Help. We need to let Him identify these areas and allow Him to do the work inside of us that He needs to do. This must be done individually before it can be done corporately.
As
we prepare for Shavuot (Pentecost) I
encourage you to daily pray this prayer, and allow the fire of the Holy Spirit
to cleanse and burn all that is not of Him.
He is longing to come, and He needs us to make straight paths for Him so
that the way is prepared for His Holy Entrance!!!
Prepare the way for Adonai! Make
straight paths for
Holy Spirit, Prepare the way for Adonai inside of me. Lord, you know every valley in me that needs to be filled in. Lord, lift up the low places, and bring down the high places in me. Level off the hills and mountains inside me. Deal with the places where You are not exalted. Deal with the places where pride is still in operation and is still a stronghold inside of me. Bring humility into my life in those areas. Lord, there are many winding roads inside of me. Only You know just how many. Straighten out the crooked paths, Lord, and cause them to be no longer perverse, and smooth out all the rough areas. Bring deliverance to me, O Lord, I pray. In Yeshua’s name I ask this. Amen!!
