| We currently offer a variety of Work shops - The Five
main ones are: LIFE! Circle drumming Sessions - Recreational Drum Sessions that are open to anyone that would like to participate regardless of experience. These are held in a group drum circle setting. These sessions are fun, creative, spontaneous, expressive and stress relieving. Demonstration performance - for schools, community/activity centers, percussion demonstrations. I bring a number of African, Mid-Eastern and Latin drums and percussion. I demonstrate the sound of the drum, talk about its history, the land of origin and how that drum would be used. I usually play along with two pieces of music at the end to reinforce what I have shared and demonstrate how those particular drums would be used in performance. (average time 1 hour) At the end guest are welcome to look at and play the drums and percussion. Djembe Workshops - I share about the Djembe drum, share traditional and contemporary rhythms. Show how it is used primarily in Western culture. Drums and Percussion in Worship - For Churches / Ministry groups This is especially good for churches that want to incorporate drums into their worship times. I talk about finding the flow with the worship times and following that throughout the worship sessions. As a Worship Leader myself, I can share the aspects from drummer as well as the leader's perspective.
